Every year, my spouse and I have the same argument.
He buys the Halloween candy. I tell him he didn't buy enough. One of us goes out to buy more. We have candy left over.
Every year it's the same.
So, this year, when I checked out the stash of candy that T. bought, and it looked like there wasn't enough, I did the only thing that made sense.
I went out and bought more.
And gave it away by the fistful. I restrained kids who were eager to move onto the next house, "No wait! I need to give you more! I have too much! Don't you want chocolate?"
When it looked like I was still going to have too much candy I did the only other thing that made sense. I started eating.
By the time I went to bed I felt a little woozy.
And I had candy left over.
I'd say, "live and learn" but I really don't thing that I have. Next year, when I don't think my spouse has bought enough candy, I'll go out and buy more.

LOL thanks for starting my day with a laugh! Great photos btw.
We had the same problem re. Candy. Katherine bought enough for 150. I suggested not enough. She upped it to 225, in the end we saw about 100 kids. I know what will be going in my lunch bag for the next month.
OMG, I do exactly the same. But I am the one who buys it & thinks it isn't enough!! I have a bag & a 1/2 left over!! I love the photo's they are great.
Okay, that dog costume is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen!! And yeah...I'm suffering from a candy hangover too. And a need to lose 10 lbs QUICKLY. Yuk. :(
Hahahahaha -- yeah. I'm sitting here with a plastic cauldron one fourth full of peanut butter filled chocolate eyeballs I don't need. I should just throw them out. I'm already kind of sick off of them. But -- but -- they're here. And they're yummy (in a cheap and trashy kind of way). And I have no witnesses.
That dog costume is fabulous, especially the back view.
Love the photos..zombie and doggie. Love all the talk about candy, chocolate, peanut butter, etc. In fact, I think I'll re-read them.
Happy Day After Halloween; my first ever without candy:)
Love,

LOL! I can provide my address to anyone with guilt filled left over candy. Just say the word. We don't live in the "trick or treat friendly" part of the neighborhood so we didn't have ANY candy. I'm just sayin'.
Ah, the good old days, when I used to live where there actually were trick-or-treaters. I miss seeing all the kids...or being one. Halloween was always a big deal in our household and in our neighborhood. It's a shame that in lots of places, it's changed due to fears of creepy people.
Oh, and my thought about the candy is...one can never have enough of it. Leftover candy is never going to go to waste if I have anything to say about it. I love candy of all kinds.
The photos of the boys are great!
Btw, that doggie butt is one of my favorite pictures.
I love the photos! Happy belated Halloween my dear!
