i bore myself to tears

As a deadline approaches rapidly (and I fit writing around parenting, recovering from chemo and oh, procrastination), I have become convinced that everything I have ever written is trite babble that no one would ever want to read outside the context of this blog.

Please don't try to convince me otherwise.

If blog content is especially lacking in depth these past few weeks, it's because I have been busy staring at the computer screen and not writing.

Perhaps I will really torture myself and do NaNoWriMo next year.

isn't doubt grand!?
listen (or "read" in this case)...
it is in "trite babble"- often beautifully banal in its simplicity- that the deepest context of a moment is exposed. trust me when i say you are great during these moments. and all of them.
your writing is always pure. and that's what we love about it. why do you think we keep comin' back?

here/at our place there is a great coffee house with wireless thinga-majig, the inspiring roof with a view (might have to send you up with a warm comforter) or the peace and quiet of us leaving you alone to do nothing... but write... if you'd like.

Yes - what 'wonders' said above.

Are you kidding me?? For me, it was hard enough just to get out of bed, round the corner to the bathroom. You are doing fantastic.

OK, Here's my suggestions...MOVIES!
1)Start with Auntie Mame the Rosalind Russell version 2)The Wizard of Oz 3)The Joy Luck Club 3)Any holiday musical with Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Cyd Charise 4)Rocky-1-100 5)The Lion, the Witch and The Wardrobe. Now get on the couch, get a blanket, snacks and hang out with the kids and the dog and hubby and watch. Think of nothing else.
Love,
Babz

What writing? You already wrote. Maybe I'm missing something?!

National NOVEL writing month??? That cracks me up! Who makes these things up? As if we didn't feel inadequate enough. Maybe we should have National Build-Your-Own-House Month and National Climb-Mount-Everest Month too...

Anyway, I'm afraid it's too late for you to worry about "trite babble" because you've already been an inspiration to many many people and I don't think that's reversible.
