just another mom in the schoolyard

My nine year old son told me this week end, as we were heading out for a dog walk, that I look "just like all the other moms."

He sounded so happy when he said it.

And he made me feel very happy. And proud.

He and I both understood what it meant to say that. He went on to say that he's very "relieved" that I don't wear that "fake rubber breast" and that he likes the way I look.

He's a very special kid.

can he be the "poster-son" for my clothing!!!? this post made me cry. well, several post i've read today have- maybe it's the rain or the date (living in ny). or maybe it's simply that your young son gives me hope for the future.

These are the best moments and you'll always have them because you're taking note.
