I know that some of you are waiting for a post about yesterday's appointment. I do plan on writing a longer post but have been too busy with lots of good things to get to it.
For now, I'll just say that I'm fine. I was actually offered options at my appointment and have to make choices. This is not bad news, though, just not what I expected. We're doing lots of talking and reading and re-visiting. The radiation oncologist has referred me to surgeon for consultation. I'm still going into the Cyber queue and one way or the other will be dealing with the tumour in 3 to 4 weeks.
Stay tuned for a more detailed post in a day or two.

Thank you for the update. Options are good. Sometimes its hard to decide, but you will make the right one for you.
I just finished reading 'Not Done Yet' and rushed to my computer to look up your blog. As I did so I held my breath hoping that you would be there and you were!! I plan on reading and catching up with what has been happening with you. I, too, am a breast cancer survivor and would never say that cancer has been a gift or the best thing that ever happened to me, but it has changed me and made me more appreciative and more open to things. I think the one thing that it has taught me is that we all have our trials and problems to bear - each one of us is struggling in our own way. I also find I don't waste my time on people who are are just wanting information about me for their own curiosity. You never commented about it in your book so perhaps this didn't happen to you but I was hurt most by those 'friends and acquaintances' that did nothing. They didn't call or send a card - nothing. That hurt and yet it made those that did just so much greater!!
Yes that did happen to me. And I have been guilty of doing that as well. So I know how it happens and I know how much it can hurt. Thanks so much for reading my book and taking the time to share a bit of your story here. Please know that you can always reach out to me.
Hi Laurie,
I was in your support group way back in the begining. I sat beside you at one of the sessions. I look at your blog from time to time but hadn't for a while. I know how brave you are and how your writing has helped you, your family and others go through your journey or theirs. I believe your Dr. C is the same one I have. He is a handsome man and a great doctor. You are in very good hands. I wish you a speedy recovery in this part of your journey. We are all here for you. Hugs, Gen
P.S., I have never written a comment on a blog, I hope it gets through.
