The shirt combined with a notebook and pen and asking staff to spell their last names slowly so you can get them down should all add up to a tentative/interesting interchange, no?
Jacqueline, I put another pic up at Flickr. You're right! The shirt isn't baggy at all. http://www.flickr.com/photos/38013780@N00/1438799975/
No one said anything (except the scary number of friends I ran into there) but I did see quite a few eyes widening. I didn't think to ask for names, that would have been fun...
Scarlett, I am relieved to hear that you do not have shingles. I had a similar stress outbreak many years ago, before starting a job. I was the newly elected chair of a province-wide student group and I had to go to my first members' conference in my new role with a big red and yellowish scaly patch on my face! Good times. I hope that yours clears up soon and that you get a break from dealing with hospitals.
COOL! Is this a sign that you are feeling ok? And did you have to spend time explaining what blogging is :)
ReplyDeletei get the real message here- i can tell that shirt isn't a baggy ol thang. it's you who rocks. oh wait. of course you do. you're a superhero!!!
ReplyDeleteperhaps another shirt could read:
"blog this."
or
"i got your blog right here."
(i am reading into this correctly, right???)

ReplyDeleteAh, and if only you could read the minds of the eye wideners.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're feeling okay and that the only green involved is smokable, not feelable.
My vocabulary is courtesy of too much/too little/not very good sleep...and the fact that I'm a little weird.
Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteHope today finds you in good health and spirits!
