My friend walks out to see what's going on, only to come face to face with Obama himself. Obama reaches out his hand and says "Hi, nice to meet you". My friend quickly recovers and replies "Welcome to Canada, Mr President", while his colleague is screaming with amazement as she's hearing this interaction over the phone. According to my friend, Obama is very tall, very good looking and has piercing eyes. He hasn't stopped talking about it since it happened. His only regret is that he was wearing a plain outfit that day. I told him that given the recession, am sure Obama would understand the lack of a fashion statement.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20882588.post-88081366724670274362009-02-20T11:42:00.000-05:002009-02-20T11:42:00.000-05:00I thought it was pretty nice to see people excited...I thought it was pretty nice to see people excited for the first time in a long time about a political figure....especially since we don't have much to get excited about with our own leaders...People survived the bus strike, a few hours of inconvenience on a few routes seems like a walk in the park. <BR/>BTW, I think he had the tail named after him...debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16742833647756845505noreply@blogger.com
